After a Four-Year Hiatus, the 19th Joint Meeting Between CIECA and MNCCI Was Resumed for Industrial Exchanges between Taiwan and Mongolia

CIECA and MNCCI (Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry) co-held the 19th Joint Meeting between CIECA and MNCCI, which was successfully concluded on the morning of September 26 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This Joint Meeting co-chaired by CIECA Board Member Ms. Carol Cheng who led a 15-member Taiwanese delegation to Mongolia and Mr. Duuren Tumenjargal, CEO of MNCCI. During the opening ceremony, Ms. Grace Chin-Ru Lo, Representative, Taipei Trade and Economic Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar and Mr. Altandush Ulziibat, Deputy Representative, Ulaanbaatar Trade and Economic Representative Office in Taipei were invited to deliver remarks respectively. Mr. Margad Shiirevdamba, Head of Industrialization and Infrastructure Division of Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia was invited to make a presentation on Investment Environment in Mongolia. It showed that the two sides’ governments valued and supported Taiwan-Mongolia economic and trade relations in the private sectors. Nearly 40 representatives from industries, government, and academia attended the said meeting. The 19th Joint Meeting focused on multiple topics, including “Medicine or Medical Device,” “ICT,” “Tourism,” and “Credit Services.”
