Mr. Mike Hung, Vice Chairman of CIECA hosted the TAIDA, NASME & Oman Business Delegation Trade & Investment Opportunities Seminar at the Taipei Red Cross Conference Room on September 7, 2023. At the outset of the seminar, CIECA Vice Chairman Mike Hung delivered an opening remark then followed by the speeches from other distinguished guests such as H.E. Said Ali Al Abri, Chairman of OCCI-North Al Batinah Governorate; Mr. Mohammed Al-Barami, Director of Commercial office of the Sultanate of Oman Taipei; and Mr. Chen Chi-Chia, Counselor, Department of West Asian and African Affairs, MOFA. This seminar was attended by more than 50 people from both sides. The 22 members of the Oman Business Delegation mainly come from industries such as construction, real estate, steel and aluminum manufacturing, auto parts, solar energy, water purification treatment, plastic and rubber machinery, mining and quarrying, logistics, soap equipment, machine maintenance equipment, halal catering, tourism, as well as import and export businesses. During the seminar, 26 Taiwanese manufacturers held B2B meetings with their counterparts in the hope of laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
