CIECA Attended “Opening Ceremony of the Third Session of Taiwanese-Slovak Commission on Economic Cooperation” and “Taiwanese-Slovak Investment Opportunities Forum”

CIECA attended the “Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Session of Taiwanese-Slovak Commission on Economic Cooperation and Taiwanese-Slovak Forum” which was co-sponsored by the ROC’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Minis-try of Foreign Affairs at the Taipei International Convention Center on June 5, 2023. The Slovak delegation was led by Mr. Peter Svec, Deputy Minister of Economy. The 26 members of the Slovak delegation included leading manufacturers on energy, semiconductor, and technology industries, as well as high-ranking government officials from the economic, diplomatic, educational sectors, particularly from the National Bureau of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences. During the forum, representatives from InvesTaiwan and Slovakia In-vestment and Development Trade Agency (SARIO) introduced the in-vestment environment of the two countries. The Taiwan side invited Mr. David Weng, CEO and General Partner of Taiwania Capital and Ms. Lucy Lee, Manager of Exim Bank to make presentations for the Slovak delegation on the Central and East-ern European Investment Fund and the Central and Eastern Europe Credit Fund.
