Czech, Hungary, Poland and Slovak Business Networking Luncheon Held on December 2, 2022

To strengthen the bilateral investment cooperation and economic and trade relations between Taiwan and the four countries (V4) of the Central Europe, CIECA held the “Czech, Hungary, Poland and Slovak Busi-ness Networking Luncheon” at East Gate Ballroom of the Far Eastern Plaza Hotel on December 2, 2022. The luncheon hosted by Mr. Robert Ouyoung, Vice Chairman of CIECA and Chairman of ANKO Food Ma-chine. Ms. Amelia W.J. Day, Secretary General of Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA, Mr. Bruno Hromy, Representative of Slovak Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, Mr. David Steinke, Representative of Czech Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, Mr. Daniel Lorincz, Rep-resentative of Hungarian Trade Office in Taipei, and Mr. Cyryl Kozaczewski, Director of Polish Of-fice in Taipei were the guests of honor at the Luncheon. During the meeting, in the session of “Company Experience Sharing,” representatives of companies investing in V4 countries were invited to exchange ideas, including Chi Fu Investment Holdings Group, Wis-tron Technologies, ATEN International, BizLink Taiwan, and Taiwania Capital. They shared their experiences of investing in the above mentioned four countries. Important government officials and businessmen from Taiwan including EximBank Taiwan, Taiwan Life Support Systems Inc., BETO Engi-neering and Marketing Co., Ltd., BenQ Materials, VTeam Financial Technology Service Corp., etc. were also invited to participate in the meeting to further understand what the government assistance is needed for expanding Taiwan’s economic and trade relations in Central Europe.
