H.E. Donya Lynex Francis, Ambassador of Saint Christopher and Ne-vis to the ROC visited with Mr. Mike Hung, Vice Chairman of CIECA on November 8, 2023. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Ambassador Donya Lynex Francis is very delighted to see the strong diplomatic relations existed between the two countries. He hopes to further promote the non-governmental economic and trade cooperation with CIECA via introducing incentives for Taiwanese manufacturers to make investment in Saint Christopher and Nevis. Regarding the cooperative relationship between Taiwan and the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, CIECA vice chairman Mike Hung said, “in addition to tourism, Taiwan can assist Saint Christopher and Nevis in developing poultry breeding technology. In terms of fisheries, larger fishing vessels and live water aquaculture technology are also areas where both parties can work together. Ambassador Fan Donya Lynex Francis stated that he was looking forward to shops coming from Taiwan to the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis. The Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis is willing to assist Taiwanese manufacturers in setting up factories, promoting tourism, exporting rum, and expanding the hot sauce production scale in the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis. The two sides had an enjoyable conversation. CIECA Vice Chairman Hung presented a gift to Ambassador Donya Lynex Francis after the meeting and suggested that CIECA and the Embassy of Saint Christopher and Nevis in Taipei work together to consolidate the friendship between the two countries.
