CIECA Attended the Reception for the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Republic of Türkiye on October 30, 2023

On behalf of CIECA, Chairman Henry Chih-Shang Kao and Secretary General Frank Wu attended the reception for the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Republic of Türkiye on October 30, 2023. Many other dignitaries as well as foreign ambassadors and representatives were present on that occasion. The event first played the video of the pre-recorded speech by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Then Mr. Muhammad Berdibek, Representative of the Turkish Trade Office in Taipei delivered his opening remarks followed by ROC Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Remus Li-Kuo Chen’s congratulatory message. They both mentioned that the two countries stressed the importance of developing green industries, renewable energy, circular economy, and smart cities with high hopes for bilateral cooperation and exchanges growing incessantly.
