Mr. Henry Kao, Chairman of CIECA held a farewell luncheon for Ms. Jenny Bloomfield, Representative of Australian Office in Taipei, at Lan Ting on the 21st floor of Regent Taipei on July 3, 2023. In addition to thanking Representative Bloomfield for her support of and assistance in the activities of CIECA, Chairman Kao hoped that Taiwan and Australia would have a closer cooperative relationship in the future, especially after Taiwan government had declared the “Taiwan’s Pathway to Net-Zero Emissions in 2050,” Chairman Kao believed that Australia is Taiwan’s solid partner on her road to net zero emissions. Representative Bloomfield said that she was also very happy to see the growing interaction and cooperation in many fields between Taiwan and Australia. She pointed out that “Australia's hydrogen energy industry is now in full swing and has developed excellent technologies.” “She believes that the two countries will have more opportunities for exchanges and cooperation in the hydrogen energy industry in the future. Representative Bloomfield said, she also praised Taiwan for having the world's best medical system and sophisticated technology from, which Australia can learn to improve her own system and industries from.
