CIECA Held a Tea Party for the Delegation of Federation of Thai Industries on July 29, 2023

Mr. Kriengkrai Thiennukul, Chair-man of Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), led a high-ranking delegation of 15 people to visit Taiwan from July 28 to 31, 2023. During the visit, the delegation attended the “BIO Asia–Taiwan 2023,” and also visited the manufacturers related to bio-technology and smart agriculture. On behalf of CIECA, Secretary General Frank Wu led Director Muse Wu to hold a tea party for welcoming the FTI delegation at Nangang Exhibition Hall 1 on July 29, 2023. Mr. Charles Kao, Vice Chairman of Thailand Affairs Committee, Chinese National Federation of Industries (CNFI) and Ms. Phoebe Chen, Director of CNFI joined the tea party, in which the two sides exchanged views on the cooperation between Taiwan and Thailand and had an enjoyable talk. Chairman Kriengkrai Thiennukul mentioned that “Thai government has vigorously promoted the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economic model in recent years. Therefore, the FTI delegation visits Taiwan and is specially arranged for visiting the relevant industries to observe the practice of circular economy in Taiwan. Taiwan and Thailand have already cooperated closely in economic field, but now both countries have even set the same goal of pursing net zero transformation. He believes that Taiwan and Thailand will work together to move towards net zero emissions.”
