CIECA Delegation Visited Vietnam on December 4-8, 2022

CIECA organized a delegation to visit Vietnam from December 4 to 8, 2022. The Chief Delegate was Mr. Arthur Ting, Chairman of Vietnam Committee, CIECA, Taiwan, and the Deputy Chief Delegate was Mr. Jerry Hsu, Vice Chairman, Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA). The delegation consisted mainly of CNAIC Young Entrepreneur Committee and the Young Entrepreneur Group of the Third Wednesday Club. In addition to visiting industrial parks and major companies, an Invest Vietnam Seminar was co-organized by CIECA and Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI). The seminar focused on the latest investment environment; startup industry; supply chain of electrical and electronic industry; and Vietnam’s economy, funds, and real estate market. CIE-CA invited speakers from various industries to share their invaluable experience and insight into their professional fields. The speakers were Ms. Beth Ann Lopez, Co-founder & CEO of Docosan; Mr. Jerry Hsu, Vice Chairman of TEEMA; Mr. Ismael Pili, Head of Research of VinaCapital; Mr. Tom Ha, International Business Development of VinaCapital; Mr. Hai Tran, Head of Investment-Real Estate of VinaCapital; Mr. Chen Chia Ken, General Manager of Phu Hung Securities Corporation; Mr. Winston Lu, General Director of Phu Hung Fund Management JSC; and so on. The VIPs from Vietnam were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director General of Foreign Investment Agency, MPI; Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Vice President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); and Mr. To Quoc Tuan, Former Secretary General of National Committee for Taiwanese-China Economic Activities
