CIECA Visited the Slovak Economic and Cultural Office, Taipei and the French Office in Taipei

On August 20, 2026, Deputy Director Deyun Li of the European Department of CIECA paid a courtesy visit to Ms. Lucia Langer, Representative of the Slovak Economic and Cultural Office, Taipei. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the current state of Taiwan–Slovakia economic and trade cooperation, industrial development, and potential areas for future exchanges. On August 21, the European Department team of CIECA paid a visit to the French Office in Taipei, where they met with Head of the Economic Department Mr. Antoine Aubel. Ms. Odile Huang, Attaché for economic affairs also attended the meeting. Discussions centered on the upcoming 2026 Taiwan Economic and Trade Delegation to France this September, as well as broader industrial exchanges between Taiwan and France.
