The Taiwan Research-based Biopharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (TRPMA) held the “The Housewarming Celebration and Spring Reception” at its new location in Nangang, Taipei City on the afternoon of March 20, 2026. As a core organization in the biotech R&D sector, TRPMA has long been dedicated to cultivating Taiwan's pharmaceutical policy environment. In addition to celebrating the move-in to the new premises, this event also featured the official launch of the “U-Trial: Taiwan Clinical Research Intent Registry,” a new milestone from which Taiwan’s biotech industry is moving toward more digitalization and innovative collaboration.
To deepen connections with the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, CIECA—a vital platform for promoting international economic and trade cooperation in Taiwan—was represented by Ms. Muse Wu, Director of the Asia-Pacific Department, and her lieutenant Ms. Joann Lee on that occasion.
TRPMA Chairman Hsu-Sung Kuo, Vice Chairman Chao-Chou Kang, and Secretary General Hsin Cheng welcomed a distinguished group of invitees to the event, including: Dr. Chien-Jen Chen, ROC Former Vice President, Mr. Chih-Kang Chiang, Director-General of the TFDA, Ms. Liang-Yu Chen, Director-General of the NHIA. The event gathered more than 80 elites from industry, government, academia, and research sectors. Participants engaged in productive exchanges regarding future directions for international cooperation in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare fields.
