CIECA Chairman Lyu Was Invited to a Luncheon Hosted by Belgian Office, Taipei

On January 15, 2026, Director Matthieu Branders of the Belgian Office, Taipei, hosted a luncheon to welcome CIECA Chairman Mr. Joseph Lyu. Attendees from the Belgian side included Deputy Director Cédric Schampers, Trade and Investment Commissioner of the Flanders Trade Office Ms. Doris Wu, and Trade and Investment Commissioner of the Wallonia Trade Office Mr. Philippe Tzou. Guests from CIECA side were Ms. Chang Special Assistant to the Chairman and Director Mr. Tang. During the luncheon, both sides exchanged perspectives on the current state of Taiwan–Belgium economic and trade relations, as well as directions for future cooperation. The discussions stressed the shared interests in furthering bilateral industrial engagement. Both parties agreed to maintain close contact to explore cooperation opportunities, with the aim of deepening substantive exchanges and enhancing collaboration between Taiwanese and Belgian industries.
