The Finland Trade Center in Taiwan hosted 2025 Independence Day Reception on December 5, bringing together guests from across different sectors to mark the 108th anniversary of Finland’s independence.
During the event, Director Lauri Raunio of the Finland Trade Center mentioned that the exchanges between Taiwan and Finland had been particularly active this year. He highlighted the solid progress achieved in areas such as trade, technology, and sustainable development, and expressed his hope that bilateral cooperation would continue to deepen in the years ahead.
Mr. Baushuan Ger, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, also remarked in his speech that exchanges between Taiwan and Finland had been deepened across culture, innovation industries, and people-to-people ties in recent years, and that the bilateral partnership had been steadily strengthened. “Taiwan values so much its mutually beneficial cooperation with Finland and looks forward to further expanding the scope of collaboration and creating more opportunities for future joint initiatives,” Vice Minister Ger emphasized.
The reception was held in a cordial atmosphere. The guests from business, diplomatic, and cultural sectors actively interacted, demonstrating the vibrancy and vitality of Taiwan–Finland relations.
