On the afternoon of November 25, 2025, the Confindustria Bergamo Business Networking Session was held at Room 501 of the Taipei Computer Association (TCA). The event began with the opening remarks from New Taipei City Computer Association Chairman Dr. Chi-Yuan Chin, followed by the speeches from Amb. Marco Lombardi of the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office (IETCPO) in Taipei; Secretary General Cynthia Chen of the Taiwan Smart City Solutions Alliance (TSSA); Mr. Giacomo Biraghi, Head of the Confindustria Bergamo Open Mind Tour; Amb. Andrea Sing-Ying, Lee, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (ICCT); and Mr. Luigi Raffone, Trade Director of the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office - Italian Trade Agency (ITA). They all warmly welcomed the Taiwanese company representatives and Italian guests who were present at the event.
The meeting officially commenced with an introductory presentation delivered by the head of the delegation, Mr. Giacomo Biraghi. He provided an overview of the key areas of Confindustria Bergamo and offered a concise introduction of the nine Italian companies participating in the visit, outlining their respective industry fields and objectives for joining the delegation. This briefing gave Taiwanese attendees a preliminary understanding of the visiting group and laid the foundation for subsequent exchanges.
Following the presentation, the event proceeded with one-on-one business matchmaking talks between Taiwanese and Italian companies. During this session, both sides engaged in concrete discussions on potential collaboration needs, technology applications, and possible avenues for continued engagement. Overall, the interactions were constructive and contributed significantly to building initial connections that may lead to future cooperation.
