The CIECA organized “2025 Taiwan Economic and Trade Delegation to Poland and Germany” made visits of the above countries from November 10 to 23, 2025. A total of 40 representatives from the public associations and private enterprises joined the delegation. The participants were from Taiwan’s key industries, including energy storage, ICT, smart cities, and the semiconductor supply chain. The two-week program featured a tight and productive agenda. In addition to being invited to the “Taiwan Night reception” held at the Westin Hotel of Warsaw on November 12, the delegation also attended the 21st Taiwan–Poland Economic Cooperation Conference in Łódź on November 13. Next day the delegation joined Ms. Cynthia Kiang, ROC Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs in Wrocław attending the “Gateway to Europe” Forum held at Mövenpick Hotel. During the visit to Poland, the delegation conducted on-site meetings with a number of leading local companies and research institutions, including Orlen Termika, a battery manufacturer; Impact Clean Power; Poznań University of Technology; FANUC Polska, an automation equipment supplier; AIUT, a system integrator; Silesian University of Technology; Łukasiewicz AI, a research institute; and Wilk Elektronik, a memory manufacturer. The delegation then traveled to Dresden, Germany, where they visited SachsenEnergie, Infineon Technologies, and the independent research institute ILK Dresden, gaining in-depth insights into the local energy, semiconductor, and R&D ecosystems. The delegation’s visit spanned seven cities—Warsaw, Łódź, Wrocław, Poznań, Gliwice, and Katowice in Poland, as well as Dresden in Germany. Through exchanges with local governments, business associations, and enterprises, the delegation significantly strengthened industries’ understanding of and connection with the European markets, laying a solid foundation for future bilateral cooperation.
