CIECA Met with a Delegation from the Dresden Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Dresden)

On October 2, 2025, CIECA welcomed Mr. Lukas Rohleder, Managing Director of the IHK Dresden at its headquarter. Dr. Eva Langerbeck, Chief Representative and Executive Director of the German Trade Office in Taipei, accompanied the delegation for the visit. Mr. Rohleder joined a delegation led by the Minister President of Saxony to visit Taiwan, gaining deeper insights into the latest developments of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry. Well-known as the “Semiconductor Capital of Europe,” Dresden will be one of the destinations of CIECA’s economic delegation to Germany from November 19 to 22. During the meeting, Mr. Rohleder expressed IHK Dresden’s full support of receiving the upcoming CIECA delegation and looked forward to furthering Germany-Taiwan industrial cooperation. CIECA Executive Director Dr. Chi-Yuan Chin extended a warm welcome to the guests, joined with representatives from Taiwan’s semiconductor sector for an in-depth discussion with the German side. Both parties exchanged views on potential cooperation in semiconductor supply chains, technological R&D, and future investment opportunities, with enthusiastic and constructive dialogue throughout the meeting. CIECA looked forward to building upon this meaningful exchange to further consolidate industrial collaboration between Taiwan and Germany, fostering hand in hand a closer partnership, and injecting new momentum into the global high-tech industry cooperation.
