The 20th Session of Taiwan-Czech Republic Joint Business Councils Meeting Was Held on September 17

CIECA and the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic (SPCR) co-hosted “The 20th Session of Taiwan-Czech Republic Joint Business Council Meeting” at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2 on September 17. The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Chin Chi-Yuan, Executive Board Director of CIECA /Chairman of Silicon Touch Technology and Ms. Kateřina Kupková, Vice-President of SPCR. Mr. Alex Chen, Economic Councilor of International Trade Administration of Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Mr. Pavel Fischer, Senator of Parliament of the Czech Republic were invited to deliver remarks. Mr. David Steinke, Representative of the Czech Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei also attended the meeting. More than 100 guests joined the event, and the atmosphere was warm and lively. This Meeting focused on the topic of “Commercial Drone and Aerospace Supply Chain.” CIECA also invited the following speakers to deliver keynote speeches: Mr. Pavel Diviš, Chairman of Czech - Taiwanese Business Chamber; Mr. Chu-Hsiang Chiou, General Director, Aerospace Research Institute of NCSIST; Mr. Michal Illich, CEO of ZURI; Mr. Tomáš Juríček, Business Development Manager of VRgineers; Dr. James Chang, General Director, Mechanical and Mecha-tronics Systems Research Labs of ITRI; Mr. Stanislav Antoň, Head of Branch, AP Solutions; Dr. Charlie Chiang, Founder of Asia UAV AI Innovation Application R&D Center. The SPCR and Czech - Taiwanese Business Chamber held the Czech Pavilion Opening Event at the “Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE),” in which Director Tito Tang of CIECA was invited and attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
