Secretary General Frank Wu Received Representative Shih-Huong Liu from CABEI

On the morning of July 16, 2025, Secretary General Frank Wu received Mr. Liu, the newly-appointed representative of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), Taipei Office. The two sides held in-depth discussions on ways to assist Taiwanese enterprises in participating in international tenders and expanding investment opportunities in Central and South America. During the meeting, Secretary General Wu also consulted with Mr. Liu regarding CIECA’s upcoming delegation visit to Guatemala in August. The exchange was cordial and productive. Representative Liu updated CABEI’s ongoing efforts, supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance, to promote financing mechanisms and loan programs that would facilitate Taiwanese companies’ participation in infrastructure and technical cooperation projects across the Central and South American region.
