MOFA and CIECA co-hosted the 2025 Guatemala Trade & Investment Promotion Seminar at the Grand Hyatt Taipei on June 5, 2025. As one of Taiwan’s steadfast diplomatic allies in Central America, a Guatemala’s official delegation led by His Excellency President Bernardo Arévalo visited Taiwan for deepening bilateral ties and furthering economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries. The event drew nearly 120 participants from government, industry, and academia. Notably, the presence of AIT Director, Raymond F. Greene, highlighted the attention the United States has placed on Taiwan-Guatemala economic cooperation, which symbolized a deep Taiwan-U.S. collaboration in the third-country.
