CIECA Co-hosted the 2025 Kingdom of Eswatini Investment Forum with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Strengthen International Industrial Cooperation

To promote international industrial collaboration, CIECA, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sponsored the 2025 Kingdom of Eswatini Investment Forum on June 4, 2025 at Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei. The event aimed to induce Taiwanese enterprises to better understand the investment environment of the Kingdom of Eswatini and explore opportunities for deeper bilateral cooperation. Approximately 40 participants attended the forum. Opening remarks were delivered by H.E. Amb. François Chihchung Wu, Deputy Foreign Minister of the R.O.C. (Taiwan) and Hon. Manqoba Khumalo, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade of the Kingdom of Eswatini. The event followed by an investment environment briefing by Mr. Martin Masilela, Manager of Investments at the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA). H.E. Ambassador Jeremy H. S. Liang, of the R.O.C. (Taiwan) to the Kingdom of Eswatini, offered his firsthand insights into the strengths and challenges of investing in Eswatini. Finally, Ms. Tzu-Chen Liao, CEO of the Mt. Dadu Industrial Innovation Foundation, introduced investment promotion opportunities in Eswatini to the participating Taiwanese business representatives.
