CIECA Visited with Dr. Alex C.C. Chien, Chairman of Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd.

On May 20, 2025, Secretary-General Frank Wu, Director Tito Tang, and Director Muse Wu of CIECA visited the headquarters of Chunghwa Telecom, Co., Ltd., where they were received by Dr. Alex C.C. Chien, Chairman of Chunghwa Telecom. During the meeting, they discussed the details and progress of the “2025 Taiwan Economic & Trade Delegation to Sweden, Finland, and Belgium,” scheduled from May 31 to June 15, and “The 17th Joint Meeting between CIECA, Taiwan and Singapore Business Federation (SBF)” to be held from June 22 to June 28. Chairman Chien is also the Chairman of CIECA’s Taiwan-Sweden and Taiwan-Singapore Committee, and he will participate in the delegation's itinerary in Finland. He mentioned that Chunghwa Telecom has been cooperating with Ericsson of Sweden and Nokia of Finland for nearly 20 years, and he hoped to continue promoting technical exchange through the upcoming visit.
