On the morning of March 20, 2025, Chairman Jeseph Lyu of CIECA, hosted a meeting for the “2025 Economic and Business Cooperation Mission to Eswatini.” This meeting focused on planning a delegation to visit Eswatini in April, which will be organized by MOFA and CIECA, with the participation of Taiwan-Africa Business Association.
Attendees of the meeting included Liu Huang-Ming, Section Chief from the Department of West Asian and African Affairs, MOFA; Chen Sheng-Peng, Minister on Home Assignment at the Department of International Cooperation and Economic Affairs, MOFA; and Wu Yu-Pei, Senior Secretary from the Department of International Cooperation and Economic Affairs, MOFA. The discussion went smoothly in the hope that this visit would further strengthen the Taiwan-Eswatini diplomatic ties and enhance businesses’ understanding of the investment environment in Eswatini. Additionally, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Taiwan-Africa Business Association also shared their experiences and expressed their aspirations to establish a product exhibition center in Eswatini in the future.
