CIECA Welcomed the Delegation of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Visiting Taiwan

On February 11, CIECA Chairman Mr. Lyu Ji-Cheng and Director Tito Tang attended a luncheon at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Place, which was hosted by the Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) for welcoming the delegation from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The delegation was led by Dr. David Tyler from the UK, Deputy Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and also the Head of the PPI Unit, Sustainable Infrastructure & Climate Finance Division. The delegation comprised 14 members from various European countries, including a Deputy Mayor of Ukraine, representatives from the Renewable Energy Division of the Ministry of Economy of Moldova, and other officials. The members of delegation included experts on sustainable infrastructure, energy policy, and urban development, such as Mr. Bojan Bogdanovic from Serbia, Principal of the Energy Efficiency and Green Buildings Division, EBRD and Mr. Srdjan Todorovic from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Director of the Energy Efficiency and Environment Protection Fund. Their presence in the delegation highlighted EBRD’s strong commitment to green buildings, renewable energy, and climate finance. This luncheon not only facilitated in-depth interactions among Taiwan, EBRD, and related institutions, but also laid a solid foundation for their future cooperation on green building, energy transition, and sustainable development.
