In order to celebrate the Republic Day of India, India Taipei Association hosted a reception dinner on January 20, 2025, at 6:30 P.M., at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. Manharsinh Yadav, Director General of India Taipei Association, delivered a speech to welcome the guests, he highlighted the deepening bilateral relations between India and Taiwan in fields such as traditional medicine, culture, trade, and investment. He emphasized that the partnership between India and Taiwan will play a pivotal role in advancing President Lai's vision of making Taiwan an “AI Island.”
Later on, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tien Chung-Kwang also made an address. Other distinguished guests, including Secretary General of the National Security Council of Taiwan Wu Jau-Shieh, Minister of Labor Hung Sun-Han, and Secretary General of CIECA Frank Wu, attended the reception as well.
