CIECA Received the Delegation of the Government of the Principality of Asturias from Spain on November 4

On November 4, 2024, Mr. Henry Chih-Shang Kao, Chairman of CIECA received the delegation of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, Spain. The delegation was led by Mr. Borja Sánchez García, Minister of Science, Business, Training and Employment of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, Spain. Mr. Eduardo Euba, Director General of Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Ms. Victoria Li, Market Analyst of Spanish Chamber of Commerce accompanied the said delegation to visit CIECA. In order to help the delegation understand Taiwan's current industrial situation, CIECA's Board Directors, Mr. James Chiao, CEO of Smart Cities Consulting Technology Inc. and Ms. Carol Cheng, Chief Operating Officer of Taiwan Research-based Biopharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (TRP-MA) were invited to make presentations on cooperation opportunities between Taiwan and Spain in smart cities and biotech new drug industries. In their presentations they both promoted next year's smart City Exhibition and Bio Asia-Taiwan. Minister Sánchez also introduced the investment environment of the Asturias Region to the distinguished guests.
