Mr. Henry Chih-Shang Kao, Chairman of CIECA, led a delegation to Singapore to attend the “38th CACCI Conference & Asia-Pacific Forum from November 11 to 12, 2024. The VIP members included Mr. Harvey Chang, Former President of CACCI; Dr. Dennis Hu, President of Foundation for Commerce and Culture Interchange, FCCI; Mr. James Shi Chu, Secretary General of Chinese National Association of Industry and Commerce (CNAIC); Mr. Vincent Yang, General Manager of Singapore Branch, Taishin International Bank.
This conference with a theme of “Making Asia Pacific Business Future-Ready,” expected to have 300 participants from 17 countries, is the first-ever CACCI meeting held in Singapore, whose organizer is the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, SMF. It is hoped that through the platform of CACCI economic development and cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region will be promoted.
In addition, this conference elected the new president, vice president and other high-level positions of the Organization. This year CIECA Chairman Henry Chih-Shang Kao, having served as the Vice President of CACCI ever since 2018, was successfully re-elected as CACCI’s Vice President. Mr. Feng Chi-Tai, Chairman of CTBC Business School was elected as a new member of the CACCI’s Budget Committee, who is expected to have close contacts with the re-elected Australian President Mr. Peter McMullin to strengthen, in conjunction with Taiwan’s new south bound policy, the economic and trade relations among member countries.
