Indonesia Business and Networking Forum Was Held on September 5

CIECA and the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office (IETO) to Taipei co-hosted the “Indonesia Business and Networking Forum” at Shangri-La Far Eastern in Taipei on September 5, 2024. About 120 manufacturers, from industries of information and communication technology, health, trade, biotechnology, electronics and electrical engineering, and banking, attended this forum. The forum was chaired by Mr. Zulmartinof, Deputy Representative of Indonesian Economic and Trade Office to Taipei. Mr. Walter H.C. Chang, Vice Chairman of CIECA was invited to deliver a speech as a distinguished guest. Mr. Nurul Ichwan, Deputy of Investment Promotion of the Ministry of In-vestment/BKPM and Mrs. Mardyana Listyowati, Director General of National Export Development of the Ministry of Trade delivered their prerecorded video speeches. Mr. Eko Wijanarko, Director of In-vestment, Indonesian Economic and Trade Representative Office (IETO) to Taipei; Mr. Wahyu Wibisono, Director of Immigration Department of the IETO, Taipei; Mr. Aaron Yeh from KPMG, Taiwan; Mr. Bayu Nugroho, Director of Trade of IETO, Taipei respectively briefed on “In-vestment Policy and Opportunities in Indonesia,” “Business Visa and Golden Visa Application,” “Tax treaty layout in Indonesia,” and “Introduction to Trade Expo Indonesia.” Participants actively interacted with each other during the one-on-one session; the forum ended successfully in a harmonious atmosphere.
