Trade & Investment Opportunities in Mozambique

In order to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation between ROC and Mozambique, Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA) and Investment Promotion Center, Mozambique (CPI) co-organized a Seminar on “Trade and Investment Opportunities in Mozambique” on April 22, 2013 at Girassol Indy Congress in Maputo of Mozambique. The seminar was chaired by Mr. Danubio Lado, Director of CPI and Mr. Mike Hung, Chief Delegate of ROC business delegation, which was attended by more than 50 participants from both sides.

Mr. Danubio Lado, Director of CPI and Mr. Mike Hung, Chief Delegate of ROC business delegation, who delivered their special remarks at the opening ceremony, followed by presentation on “Opportunities and Investment climate in Mozambique” by Mr. Danubio Lado, Director of CPI, in which he introduced Mozambique economic profile and investment environment. Mr. Alfred Wang, Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Dept., Ministry of Economic Affairs, ROC delivered a presentation entitled “The Economic of Taiwan”, in which he introduced Taiwan’s development of stages, economic performance, Cross-Strait Relations between Taiwan and Mainland China and the forecast for growth in 2013.
