Function of CIECA
- Maintain close contact and liaison with foreign business leaders and enterprises to develop bilateral and multilateral economic and trade ties.
- Collect up-to-date international business information as a base for making recommendations to our government for policy decision in economic affairs.
- Provide consultative advice to our government over economic and trade issues and, upon the request of our government, undertake research in economic affairs.
- Promote exchange of visits for businessmen between Taiwan and other countries and help settle disputes in trade and other economic activities with other countries.
- Conclude economic cooperation agreements with counterpart organizations in other countries.
- Perform all other activities relevant to strengthen international economic cooperation.
