Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association

The major activities of its work program are as follows:

1. Maintain close contact and liaison with foreign business leaders and enterprises to develop bilateral and multilateral economic and trade ties
2. Collect up-to-date international business information as a basis for making recommendations to our government for policy decision in economic matters
3. Provide consultative advice to our government over economic and trade issues and, upon the request of our government, undertake research in economic affairs
4. Promote exchange of visits for businessmen between Taiwan and other countries and help settle disputes in trade and other economic activities with other countries
5. Conclude economic cooperation agreements with counterpart organizations in other countries
6. Perform all other activities relevant to promotion of international economic cooperation
7. Facilitate mutual understanding and bilateral exchanges with foreign countries by sponsoring visits to Taiwan of their political and economic leaders, decision-making individuals in government and legislature, prominent scholars and experts
